The holiday period always sees an increase in snaring ...

This hyena was in terribly bad condition. Luckily, the vet managed to immobilize and treat him on Arathusa airstrip of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Thank you for the Sabi Sands Wildtuin for covering the costs of travel. The rest of the operational costs were split between our snare rescue group.
